Default What's the Connection?

Very simple...and a bit similar to previous games, admittedly..simply post two pics Could be two actors..two film posters..anything really..but there has to be a common denominator that links the two....

Don't know how this will go let's see....

So, in case you don't recognise them..what's the common denominated that links Lon Chaney Snr and Gerard Butler?

Oh good game Charlie. They both played The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.

Give me a mo and I'll come up with one. I'm back...

You are quite right there, Oz but you know what? I completely forgot that Butler played the Phantom . Ive never seen the Lloyd-Webber version, you see. I used those two because I found out the other day that 'Lon' was actually shortened from his given name of...Leonidas..the name of the Spartan King played by Butler in 300...
Maybe I should have said 'what name links them'? But then you could still have said 'Erik'...

Oh jeez and here I thought I was so smart and smug.

I should have waited to see if I was correct.

You are quite correct..they both played the Phantom..it's a common denomonator I hadn't considered...but it's certainly a correct answer and I can't argue with it..
