Default The Notebook

I know this movie is based on a book, but is this a true story or fiction? I bought it, but have yet to watch it. Any opinions?

Fiction I believe...and if you have seen A Walk to Remember and Message in A Bottle you will like The Notebook. All three movies are based of books from the same author, Nicolas Sparks.

There is also a book sequel to the Notebook, that I have yet to read

Based on a Nicholas Sparks book by the same name. I haven't read the book, but those that have said the book is MUCH better. Anyone that has read the book really hated the movie.

After having seen the movie without reading the book, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The love story is not so sappy and the story is very interesting. And despite what a lot of people have said about the film, it's not all that sad.
