Wasn't really sure where to post this but earlier today I tried to post in the "new members introduce yourself here" thread and something popped up saying

I changed each section of the forum to display threads from the beginning. I think it's easy to miss relatively new topics when the Default View Age is only 2 months, 75 days, etc. Yes, you can adjust it yourself at the bottom of the list of threads in each section, but I'm not sure most people want to be bothered with the extra step and new members might be left thinking that there are only 10 or so threads in each section.
Let me know your thoughts? Do you think it makes the forums run slower? Are there any other reasons why you think it was good to, by default, display only the most recent threads?

Doesn't seem to make the forums run any slower for me, the more option for the user the better I say.

The Thing...REALLY?!?!?! I'm sorry but did john carpenter f*ck it up the first time?!?!?! cuz i thought it was pretty damn good btw i don't intend to just blast remakes and sequels and sh!t....just give them what they deserve... the remake of last house on the left was great
