Anyway, back to Natalie. If she wasn't a great actress, she was no doubt lovely!

I only have three words for that:

The Wild Bunch

Ugh seen both of those. It just gives me the chills. And for those who saw Saw 2, there's a pretty bad wrist-slitting scene.

But Natalie Wood never did either of those in a film, that I'm aware of.

I went ahead and looked her up, and it doesn't seem as if Natalie Wood died in any of her movies. That's funny - I can't think of any actor or actress whose been in more than just a movie or two whose character has never died. Sounds like an idea for a thread . . .

Yes...There's an incredibly graphic throat slitting at the end of The Wild Bunch (I'd expect nothing less from Sam Peckinpah!) that sparks off the final shoot out.

Nobody really knows how Natalie Wood died, but there's some speculation that, while she was definitely in a drunken state, she might've been pushed overboard by her husband during a dispute or whatever, or, it's possible that she could've fallen overboard in a drunken state. Who knows?

I thought Natalie Wood was okay as Maria in West Side Story, btw.
