I just hope it doesn't start getting to soap operaish! it took till the third episode for Dexter to start his "therapy", but it looks like a good season for the most part so far!

We are all caught up now, watched it in two days!

We don't have Showtime, I refuse to pay anymore for cable TV . So we wait patiently until we can get a season on DVD, so next year we will watch season 6.
I think the "Circle Us" episode was the best one, how Dexter takes care of the guy Lumen kills in the warehouse and the guy Dexter had in his truck with the plastic wrap on him, was just brillliant!

*BUMP*

Oh Showtime had a free weekend so we watched all of Season 6. I think it was one of the best seasons so far and the ending.

Also there were of course a few other moments along the way.

I have to say my continued dislike of Maria LaGuerta is only getting stronger. I just do not like her character at all.

I got my wife the first 4 season on DVD for Xmas...we're 6 episodes in on the First Season - Really starting to grow on me as the characters are being developed more. Looks like we'll be sticking with this one for the long haul...

What a great husband you are!
The show really does hook a person. And each progressive season never fails to deliever and just when you think you've seen it all.. something else crops up to knock you for a loop! I love shows that make me say "Holy Crap!" alot.

************SPOILER************

(although it's from a few season ago...)

Ok, something's bugging me about Season 2...I just can't let it go. Maybe I missed something...

Early in the season, the Boatyard is under video surveillance to try and catch the Bay Harbor Butcher

Dexter is under FBI Watch / Guard at his house

He Sneaks out to go and dispose of the body at the cabin in the everglades

He takes his boat...

Wouldn't he be concerned that they'd see him leaving in his boat unaccompanied when he was supposed to have his guard with him?! I mean those cameras had a direct line to the police station....Did he move his boat earlier and I missed something or were the episodes originally so spaced apart that they'd figure nobody would notice?

Oh boy, I can't remember. So I must not have noticed or thought about it.

He changed marinas. If you remember when Dexter is talking to Lundy he says "your boat is in that marina right? You might want to considering getting it out of there." So he probably piucked one with lighter security.
