Default Nothing like the Hangover...

An unexpected event on our last vacation was being stuck in the Minneapolis airport for eight hours. when a Delt@ error (employees forgot to sign paperwork and we had to return to wait on the tarmack!) caused us to arrive late and although our connecting flight was still there, they refused to let us on the plane. While I was complaining to the "customer service" person, she got on the phone and told her supervisor that I was being "destructive". I am guessing she meant "disruptive", but in these security-conscious days that is a big difference. Worst airline experience ever. Horrible ending to a wonderful vacation. One year later, I'm still angry. When will companies learn that a little consideration goes a long way, and rudeness stays in the memory forever?

Went on vacation to P.E.I. rented a cottage on the ocean....all was going well until the first night. Woke up in the middle of the night and swore I had an earwig on my pillow...told my wife, she didn't believe me.

Next night, we go to get ready for bed...pull back the sheets - Earwigs EVERYWHERE!!!!...Slept in the living room of the cottage for the night with the kids because, once they saw what our bed was like they got pretty freaked out. Complained to the owner the next day and he moved us to one of the permium cottages at no charge....bad experience turned into a good one....I hate earwigs.

On vacation with my parents as a child I almost drowned in Hawaii. Quite unexpected and scary.

I was at Nags Head years ago. Went down there with my good freind and his family. He had 2 hot sisters. I always found them attractive. Nope, this story is not about his sisters. save that for a later day. This is about one of his sister's firnes. Lets just say she pu at age 16 put a lot of women to shame in the mammary gland department. She looked good in a bathing suit and just looked good altogether. This house had a deck onop of the house so yoiu could see the beach. She and I went up there to gaze at the stars. She being 16< i did not think she would try anything. We chatted for quite a while. She then asked if she could kiss me. I was like, what. Sure. Man, she came over and we made out for quite a while and she didn't mind if my hands roamed. It was funny. Later on, my buddy's sister goes, I thhink Lindsay's friend likes you. My buddy's father walked bdhind her a few times and made some comments about her breast. with hand gesturs. 25 years later and 4 kids later, I really realized she digged me.

We driove up to the mountains in North Carolina to some kinda ski villa and the place had no record of our reservations. We managed to stay there but it was not a great feeling showing up and thinking we had nowhere to stay.

Standing on a beach as a child, happy as Larry until a wave crashed over me.
Sad.
