One thing I wonder about this, though - when Extremely Fit Guy goes running to the edge of a rooftop and blithely leaps over into the great beyond . . . how does he know there's another, lower rooftop there at all? There's a couple places where he could just as easily plummet into an air shaft or strip mine or something. Maybe he just knows the neighborhood really well.
The shoot through the transom is pretty impressive. |

Good point. Also, that rope was suspiciously convenient.
Implausibility aside, though, this looks ****ing cool. I'm definitely seeing it.

Yeah the rope was stupid, but I can think of one possible argument for him knowing about the lower building. As I understand it freerunning was invented specifically in the ghetto's of Paris, because that is how the building are designed. That all of that area of Paris has strange architecture in which there are few gaps between buildings that are built on different levels of height. Thus people became inspired to do crazy moves and jump buildings, because it was like that every where. So it's not that it is really pretty plausible that there would be buildings perfectly there for him to jump onto. He would just have jumped off knowing that.
I am some what worried by an almost Fast and the Furious like aspect to some of this film. However I hope I was just decieved by the preview I saw.
