They took wrestling off public television a long time ago in Australia, but my childhood is filled with memories of WWF. I wish I could still watch it. I've never understood people who say "But it's all just fake". It's entertainment, the actors in action movies don't really die.

I'm with cicero on this one. People would say to me, "But they decide in advance who's going to win." I'd reply: "Every time someone puts on Hamlet, they know Laertes is going to lose the duel. So what?"
All the same, I like a little help with the willing suspension of disbelief, so I don't go for WWF either. I always liked it when Catweazle was on, Charlie. Especially when I discovered his real name was Gary Cooper.

A once saw this guy
 get arrested by police after an elderly member of the public jumped onto ringside and started punching him for 'cheating'. He got a fore arm smash in the face for his troubles. When his son jumped into the ring to retaliate he was lifted over the wrestler's head and thrown into the stalls!! He is, of course masked legend, Kendo Nagasaki
