The Big Bang Theory Season 2 DVD Contest
The Big Bang Theory is an American comedy that focuses on two socially inept physicists, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons), who live across the hall from Penny (Kaley Cuoco), an attractive blonde waitress who aspires to be an actress. Penny's social skills and sensibilities provide the perfect contrast to Leonard and Sheldon's awkward personalities. Is she their only hope? Watch the Big Bang Theory Season 2 to find out. ![]() Behind the Scenes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGOcjwmu9gQ To Enter: Reply to this thread with the title of your favorite geek movie. It can even be a movie with a geek character. Provide a couple sentences as to why you like it. And we won't accept Star Wars, indeed a very good movie, but we want movies involving geeks, not watched by them. You get the idea. Good luck. Last edited by klance1 : 10-17-2009 at 06:01 AM. |

Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise is the most unintentionally hilarious and absolutely horrible film I have ever seen... And that's why I love it. For one thing, Curtis Armstrong is positively hilarious, but mostly, the nerds in this film are so overblown and over the top caricatyres that they somehow transcend the cultural spectrum and become the image of nerds that people who don't know any might imagine. It's culturally an interesting film from the 80s because of just that.

WarGames - Completely insane and unfeasible storyline for a movie but nevertheless turns out to be an enjoyable and entertaining movie. I also am a bit of a Broderick fan after Ferris Buellers Day Off, Glory and The Cable Guy. I found this movie to be a lot better than Hackers too as it was just a lot more fun.

Who else plays a better geek than Anthony Michael Hall? You can pick from a variety of his movies including Weird Science and the Breakfast Club, but my personal favorite is him in Sixteen Candles. Loved him as "Farmer Ted" borrowing Samantha's panties to prove his manliness. But at least he knew he was a nerd...."I never bagged a babe. I'm not a stud." The eighties ruled....

The Goonies....Data was definitely a geek. Sean Astin as Mikey was too. A great adventure movie. Plus it's good entertainment for all ages. Gotta love the Truffle Shuffle.
