I know; not a new upcoming film, but just saw an advert for a dvd of it 'now in glorious colour'. Why oh why oh why oh why [ad infinitum] would ANYONE want to watch it in colour...I mean, sacrilege or what??

Yeah, I bought it on dvd a couple years ago and mine came with both the b&w and the color version. I always watch the b&w version. But last xmas I made my 16 yr old sister watch it, and I thought the color version would keep her attention better. Kids these days have a prejudice against black & white.

But I will say if that is the only way to get kids to watch a classic film...No it is still a sacrilege.
