We have a whiteout right now. Inch of snow in last 30 minutes.
Okay, the kids and I like Snow Dogs. Disney movie, but fun to watch.

Dammit! Both the films I was going to mention have already been used..30 Days Of Night and Fargo.

So I'll have to go for my third choice which is 'Let The Right One In'..there's something very disturbing about a little girl in just a cotton night shirt standing in the Swedish winter and not even shivering! The snow and wintery conditions in this film are as much a part of the cast as the brilliant young actors.

Default Absolute Zero
I enjoyed the deep freeze on earth portrayed in Absolute Zero, at the start of the next ice age.

Heroes of Telemark. A great World War 2 resistance movie that takes place in Norway. Kirk Douglas at his best. (okay, biased because of the movie). Great scenes in the snow as the norwegians and British commandos go against the nazi's to blow up the heavy water power plant.

Oh Simlla's Sense of Snow. A movie not many people have seen for some odd reason. It is a great film.
