I can't pick out one in particular but my great uncle was a Marine in WWII. He was one of the first platoons on Guadalcanal and if you don't know much about it research it, It was one of the most brutal battles in U.S Millitary history and lead the surge in the pacific. He used to tell me stories about it all the time and i still hve dreams about his stories and they play out almost exactly how he told them. This is a big reason i enlisted in the Marine Coprs. Semper Fi.

Every so often I have one of those dreams where I dream that I'm falling and knee jerk in real life to stop myself...those usually stick with me for a little bit afterwards because they usually feel so real.

When I was small, I used to have nightmare that would scare me rigid, yet there is nothing particulary scary about it. In my dream, I would alternate between being in a factory with loud clunking machinery and in a small old fashioned parlour that smelt of lavender. I still don't like lavender now, and I have no idea why the dream scared me so much.

Default A Nightmare

I had a very vivid dream once in a motel room in Anaheim, CA. I awoke in my dream to the sensation of being smothered by an invisible hand. The sheets were constricted around me and I could not breathe or scream. I was squeezed tighter and tighter until I blacked out. I woke up for real after that, gasping for air and covered in sweat. I changed rooms the next day.

When i was like 5 or 6 i had a Sesame Street dream, except for the fact that it involved Bert and Ernie standing over my bed, Ernie with razor teeth biting my finger off and Guy Smiley standing at my door just laughing. I couldnt go in my room for like 3 days. To this day, and im 29, i remember that vividly. Ill never forget it.

A show I loved growing up was Airwolf. Loved that Helicopter and just thought it was sleek, sexy, and powerful. I dreamed every night that I was the pilot of this war machine and took care of business with the Commies back then. I am sure it would be terrorists today.

My dream I can not shed now or back when I first had it is being the pilot of a helicopter like Airwolf. Tear em up and take em down is my motto. When I was younger, I thought of me flying it behind enemy lines taking care of the commies. I still have the dream, but it's now resucuing handsome us soldiers and getting rid of terrorist.
