My family and I were driving back from a trip to Wisconsin visiting friends going through cow country...My daughter was having some stomach issues with car sickness, we were looking for a place to pull over and get some motion sickness medicine for her....anyways, we were too late... with the smell of the fields she projectile vomited in the van (some pieces hit the front windshield) which caused my older son who has a weak stomach to also vomit. We had to pull over for a good half hour to air out the van and get it all cleaned up...my wife also has a weak stomach so I'll give you one guess as to who was on clean up duty!

Memorable road trip...

I was driving across the state once, here in Wisconsin, to visit my wife, then girlfriend, in college. I made it about 1/3 of the way there when doing about 75 mph, my front drivers side wheel flew off the car. I went from 75 on the freeway to 0 in the ditch in what seemed like 2 seconds. Scared the hell out of me. Best part was seeing my wheel cruising at about 30 mph on the other side of the freeway narrowly missing cars. I had to crawl out of my car and chase it for a mile before catching up. Luckily for me, I wrecked just off a freeway exit with a tow/repair shop. A couple hours and a couple hundred dollars later, i was back on my way.

My most memorable road trp was the time the girls and I took our daughters to NYC. We loaded up the Mini Van and headed on up there to see some shows and shop. You think a trip wlike that would be innocent, but it sure wasn't. Well in some ways. Once we got NYC, we parked the van and did our thing. Biggest mistake was to drink some wine before the show. (Lion King). Well, I was there to have fun, but the other mom's were there to dream. The wine got their libidos up. They didn't do anything with the libido, but to talk about the guys in their tights. Oh boy, embarrassing around the young ones. No arrest, no marriage eding tragedies, but sure a lot of explanations to our teenage and preteen daughters.

Going to Disney World with my wife and her sister and her family. Pure hell all the way down to FL listening the big chested older sister talking the whole way explaining everything and knowing everything in detail. Then getting there and receiving a "female toy pack-gently used by her" to have fun with my wife. Hmmm....went to the trash can.

Default A trip upstate?

I feel like this contest is held in my own New York. My most memorable road trip was one of my last weekends in college. 4 of us drove about 9 hours to the Jersey Shore for a 3 day concert in Asbury Park. We stopped for breakfast at a fast food Italian restaurant called Mama Ilardo's on the way. We still say, "Hey, remember Mama Ilardo's?" It was a great mozzarella stick breakfast.

A lot of Wisconsin road trips..... took a road trip with some friends a couple years ago. Drove to Wabasha, MN, which is a very scenic and beautiful area. From there we drove through Lake City and Red Wing, MN and stopped at bars along the way and then over into Wisconsin. We stayed in Chippewa Falls and toured the Leinenkugel's Brewery the next day and went to this really nice zoo/park in town. Overall, a fun time!
