The Two Mrs. Carrolls DVD Contest
Watch The Two Mrs. Carrolls Movie Trailer Synopsis: Humphrey Bogart, Barbara Stanwyck and Alexis Smith light up the screen in this psychological thriller from 1947. Bogart plays Geoffrey Carroll, a painter who draws his inspiration from the women in his life. The only problem is that when a wife no longer inspires his canvases, he poisons her in order to clear the way for a new bride. At the moment, Sally (Stanwyck) is his current wife and she is growing suspicious of her husband, who has taken an interest in a female neighbor. Will Sally discover in time that her husband is slowly poisoning her with the glass of milk that he regularly offers her as a nightcap, or will she end up six feet under giving Geoffrey the opportunity to continue his twisted lifestyle of murder and deceit? For more information on this Warner Archive Collection release, visit Warner Bros. ![]() To Enter the Contest: In a reply to this post, share a movie you like that involves one spouse trying to murder the other. Double Indemnity....great movie. Great dialogue. Great acting by Stanwyck, MacMurray, and especially Eddie G. Robinson.

So many good noir choices.
The Postman Always Rings Twice, we have Lana Turner getting a poor lovesick sap, John Garfield, to help kill her husband for her.

Dial M for Murder - a classic Hitchcock movie with plenty of suspense and a great story.

I saw Dial M for Murder for the first time a couple of months ago. What an excellent movie! So suspenseful, and twisty.
