I am afraid of water...childhood trauma..long story, almost drowned..saved at the last minute on my third time down...
Anyway and I spend all of my free time at the beach... but don't care to be on water much... But I never could understand why/how she got into a dingy in the middle of the night....didn't not make any sense to me at all.... ..I couldn't have done that in a million years..no matter how drunk I might have been...

i don't think it was weird she was around water even though she was terrified of it... i think it's ironic that she drowned, and yet there are all these pics of her by water... freaky

Well, she said that only place she felt safe near water was on R. Wagner's boat. Which was why it's hard to believe that she in the middle of the night, got onto a small dingy by herself, to get away from the boat. It's also strange the occupants of the other boats heard screams and yells, but Christopher Walken and Robert Wagner (who were on the boat with her) have both said they didn't hear her screams at all.
Her mother was also a little crazy. She was obsessed with Natalie from the time she was a little girl, and pushed her to act, some people she worked with have referred to it as "pimping". And in one scene from Tomorrow is Forever in which Natalie had to cry but couldn't, her mother pulled her off the set and reminded her in detail of what happened to her puppy when it was hit by a car. She's also the one who instilled Natalie's fear of water in her. Supposedly it was because when Natalie was first born, her mother was visiting a psychic who told her that her second born would die in dark water.

sounds like the lyrics to a song... it can happen with anyone... i grew up always swimming, was on a swim team for 11 years, strong and fast swimmer... but my senior year of college, i went through some ice which froze up over me and i almost drowned... my theory: it was walken. that man is shifty looking. |
