I have never gone to the Theater ****-faced....but in High School we went to the Drive-in movies all the time...and boy did we ever get ****-faced then....but really that was the only reason we went anyway, just to party-hardy.....never went to watch the movie....

The last one I went to that I remember was when I went to see The Animal.

I've been trying to forget it though....

I can't drink and watch a movie. I get too restless. Although I don't do it often, sometimes I think drinking might be my favorite thing do to.

Wow i'm officially the only one who doesn't drink on this site or do drugs, now I feel all goody goody . Ah but one time these kids came into our theater drunk and were throwing fire crackers down the aisle well that was untill my friend and me threw them back and hit one in the chest. Yet the management did nothing so needless to say we don't go back to our local theater anymore. Besides it's called Cottonwood Cinema, Yes I live in a town named after a tree and yes it is very dull.

I don't drink either Never have, never will. I am horribly afraid of vomitting...so I refrain from doing anything that might cause it. Of course one glass a wine won't make me run to the toilet, but when your really afraid of something, you'll do everything in your power to prevent that thing from happening. I can't even watch/listen to scenes in movies where someone is vomitting, have to plug my ears and close my eyes.

Ok, now you know how big a chicken I am. What about the rest of you? Everyone's afraid of something.

lol. The only alcoholic beverage I ever drank, was some champagne at my uncle's wedding. I was about 7, thought it was apple juice...boy was I wrong. Ran to the bathroom and spit it out! Oh and more recently I tasted something at a wedding, not sure what it was lol. I've been to a million wedding receptions since I used to work catering a dessert at them, everyone thought I was over 21, could have gotten any drink I wanted I didn't of course but it's nice to know I could have.

Chicken? Schmicken! It's a recognised medical condition:Emetophobia, my friend suffers from it too. Same symptoms as you.On one occasion after a big meal , it was very late and I would have had trouble getting home .She offered me her couch which I gratefully accepted. However..after a while I felt sick and had to vomit (in her toilet..as discretely and quietly as possible, knowing her condition) but she heard and said she was very sorry, but now I had thrown up there was no way she could let me stay....

Watching anyone vomit (whether real or acted) isn't at all pleasant anyway..to have that feeling multiplied by an added phobia about it must be awful..you have my sympathies.

Emetophobia....that's what it's called. I looked it up once. Well, nice to know I'm not on my own. I don't think my case is quite as bad as hers. I have gotten better. Had the flu a few years ago, it was quite bad, that's what started the whole phobia. I lost a lot of weight cause I wouldn't eat for fear of being sick. The idea about me vomitting is horrible, but after it's over, it really wasn't so bad. I get more upset if someone else is vomitting.

Sheesh, I'm not at all afraid of death. But, watch me flip out if someone barfs! Thanks for your sympathies Charlie
