I saw this today (double feature). I thought this was or close to Bens best movie and Diane Lane was also great. The movie itself was good, not great in my opinion. I give it a 6.5 Ken

This movie looks kind of interesting to me, but I think I'll wait for the DVD.

That is what I did. We rented it yesterday, I really wanted to see it though and get their take on the George Reeve's suicide {or murder}. I think it is always going to be a source of speculation as to what really did happen. The movie hands you three, perhaps four, senarios as to what really transpired, and does leave you with one conclusion that is probably what really did happen, but you can't be sure.

As a child of the 50's I thought it was a dandy trip down memory lane, the costumes and sets really brought the 50's to life. I don't care for Adrian Brody much, or didn't, but this movie makes me a fan. Diane Lane as the desperate, needy and a bit unhinged older woman in love with her boy toy Reeves gave a really top-notch performance. Bob Hoskins was excellent as the menacing Studio head.
Robin Tunney was very irritating as the trampy girl-friend.

I thought Ben Affleck's acting was wooden at best. I had a really hard time seeing him as George Reeves, Ben isn't exactly Superman in my book.

It was worth a rent, just for nostalgia sake.
