This wouldn't be just quotes, or endings, but instead, any part of a movie that you loved so much you had to make sure that you saw it every time, and maybe even rewound it to watch it again. Post moments like these.
This entire thread might be 1 big *Spoiler*. Some of mine are . . . As Good As It Gets. The scene where Carol is screaming how she wants a normal boyfriend and her mom comes out and says,"Everyone wants that dear, . . . it doesn't exist." Reindeer Games . . . "The Pow Wow Safe." adding to this . . . Parenthood . . . Grandma telling her story about life and the roller coaster ride. When his son wins them the game at the end. The baby scene in the hospital at the end of the movie. First Blood . . . The booby traps he sets for them. Con Air . . . The 1 scene, Don't treat women like that, and his other quote."Do you know who I am?" "Ugly all day." |

from To Have and Have Not:
"You know you don't have to act with me, Steve. You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and... blow."

That made me think of a small role she has in Lone Star. She plays Chris Cooper's football obsessed, mentally-unstable ex-wife. She only has one scene, but that scene made an indelible impression on me.

Memorable for all the wrong reasons: The last five minutes of 'Very Bad Things' in which we get to see the nightmare life that Cameron Diaz is now trapped in...shocking humour at it's blackest...
Memorable for the merging of classical music and extreme violence in a slo-mo style-ee:The fight between Alex and his Droogs by the lake to the strains of Rossini's 'Thieving Magpie'...masterful from Kubrick. Memorable for the rush of adrenalin and joy: The point where Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang goes over the cliff....and sprouts wings! (Come on!! I was eight!) Memorable for the 'cringe factor': Going to see The Godfather' with my mum aged 14 and squirming with embarassment next to her as (James Caan?) shags one of the bridesmaids up against a door during the wedding scene at the beginning. Memorable for being able to say "well! I never saw that coming" :The end of 'Get Carter' where after wreaking his revenge on his enemies, Michael Caine as Carter is walking along the beach..the camera pans out and you expect the credits to roll at any moment..and 'BANG!' Caine is shot dead by a faceless sniper!!!! What the fu....!??? And Memorable just for being a great revelation: "No..I am your father, Luke."

I posted this when we had it in the old forums but o well!
POTC--While Captain Jack is in jail and sitting against the wall, he leans his head back and smiles. O Brother Where Art Thou--When Clooney is trapped up in the barn and keeps saying "Damn we're in a tight spot." Oceans 11--After giving Rusty his speach about why to do the job, Danny and Rusty walk into the elevator, turn around, and the elevator bell dings. Oceans 12--It was overdone comedy but....Russ and Danny are watching Happy Days while drinking wine. Danny attempts to pour wine into Rusty's glass but misses and you hear the splat of the wine on the floor. (Yes I actually went to see this one 2 times lol)

Talking about Gone With The Wind in another thread has reminded me of these memorable moments:
Rhett Butler to Scarlett: "No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how." And of course one of the most memorable moments of all time: Scarlett: Rhett, Rhett... Rhett, if you go, where shall I go? What shall I do? Rhett: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
