I luv that song-the Madame Thenardie has the best lines in it:

Master of the house?'
Isn't worth me spit!
`Comforter, philosopher'
- and lifelong $hit!
Cunning little brain
Regular Voltaire
Thinks he's quite a lover
But there's not much there
What a cruel trick of nature
Landed me with such a louse
God knows how I've lasted
Living with this b@stard in the house!

it's funny-cuz she's so tanked when she's singing it so she just stumbles and slurs thru it, and you can't help but to look at her and think, 'and you're something special??'

I had heard that PotO wasn't very good. Of all the people I spoke with about it, I heard nothing but complaints.

Minus the hairbrush, I have been known to shake it round the house to 'If I Were a Rich Man', yada yada yada....

I am with you other guys. A year ago, if you asked anyone who knew me how I felt about films they would say I lived them. Movies are crap now. Used to be movie after movie would come out, "OH I can't wait to see that one!" Now-a-days, people are saying "Yep.... looks like that one is going to suck too." What is the deal?!?

Yep I have noticed that lately too Max. Lot of movies that ppl just say eh thats gonna stink.

As for Phantom; Gerard Butler was a good Phantom, but his voice was weak. Christine (Emmy Rossum) had a nice voice, much sweeter than Sarah Brightman. Sarah's was much more powerful, but I liked Emmy as well. Raoul had the best voice, though his character drove me insane (I don't go for the passionate lover thing). Meg was one of my favorite characters, her voice was nice in my opinion. Carlotta (Minnie Driver) though she did not sing her songs in the movie, played Carlotta very well. But I think the best characters were the two men that bought the theatre.

The very begining and the very end I enjoyed a lot.

I have not seen the play yet (will in 4 days ) but my sister who has seen the stage play, liked the movie. She said the only real letdown was the Masquerade scene (movie).
