Default Halloween

Double feature. On Halloween 1963, Haddenfield, 6-year-old Michael Myers (Daeg Farch), estranged and mentally unstable, is imprisoned in Smith's Grove Sanitarium under the care of Dr. Sam Loomis (Malcolm McDowell) for the murders of his mother's (Sheri Moon) boyfriend, his older sister, and her boyfriend. Now, 15 years later, he is accidentally released and now in search of his baby sister Laurie (Scout Taylor-Compton) and Dr. Loomis must warn the residents of Haddenfield and get to Laurie before Michael does. The ONLY good thing about this movie is lots of boobs!! Not even a good rental folks. I give this movie a 3. Ken

Default Boo!!!!!

This movie was horrible. It leaked on the internet and I watched it the day before it came out in theaters, I honestly couldn't even finish watching it. My boyfriend fell asleep and I left the room.
A huge disappointment from a remake...by Rob Zombie? Whoda thought?

When the studio refuses to screen a film for reviewers, there's usually a good reason.

Thank GOD for some honest reviews. I truly believe Zombie just needs to get back to his music and leave the film industry alone. I also didn't understand why a remake of one of the best horror movies ever made was necessary, especially since the original is TIMELESS. When I watch Carpenter's version, I am not saying to myself, "Wow, this was made a really long time ago." It could have been made last year. Maybe it was a GOOD thing this was released WAY before Halloween!

I haven't heard one good THING said about this movie let alone one good review. Well, actually everyone says there are plenty of boob shots but unless you're a 12 year old boy that's not much of a reason to see a movie.

My friend's brother hated it and he's usually very, very generous when it comes to horror movies.

I read this script a while ago and I am curious if some of the more questionable portions of the script made it in (these all taking place during Michael's childhood).

Personally I think Rob Zombie should give up trying to 'make films'...he obviously doesn't have the talent for it.

Unfortunately that probably won't happen. Halloween set a new Labor Day weekend record here with $31 million. Doesn't say much for movie goers does it?
