I just remembered a scene from a movie, but I can't remember the title. The main character is a young priest and there's some sort of haunting at this house where a family is killed or something. Anyway, the scene I remember is the priest in a bedroom with a nun and she takes off her habit and they start having sex or just "hooking up". Then it cuts to him standing in the room by himself, apparently he was daydreaming. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

I was just reading and in the book it mentioned it was raining so hard it was like it was raining toads. I remember this scene from the end of some movie that I have seen recently. There are toads falling from the sky. A lot of toads everywhere. One of them hits a man on the head as he tries to climb up a side of the building. I cannot remember what the name of the movie is. Anyone know? Thanks in advance! I am sorry I don't have a better explaination but toads falling from the sky would make for a pretty unforgettable scene!

Well, I could be wrong considering I was half asleep when I was watching this movie, but I think that may have happened in Magnolia

I asked this question on the old Forum, in greater detail...but I'll ask it again now, because I never did get anybody to tell me what they thought....
At the end of The Bridge on the River Kwai do you think Colonel Nicholson finally realizes the insanity of what he has done in building the bridge and is groping in panic and shock towards the plunger so he himself can blow up the bridge. Or is it a coincidence that he is shot and happens to fall on the plunger.... Does he fall on it by accident or by design? If by accident, does it ruin the story with such a far-fetched coincidence. But then if it is on purpose isn't it totally against the nature of his character. I think it happens on purpose, he was absurd in his thinking, he has finally come to his senses. He realizes what he has done, as he is running for the plunger, the coincidence is that he is indeed shot and subsequently falls on the plunger...but it was by design and perhaps fate stepped in to make sure he did not fail. Anyway, the ending has always bugged the hell out of me...my husband thinks he just tripped and fell....

I think he definately has a change of heart and just happens to get shot as he's going to push the plunger.

Thanks Matt and GB....I'm sure we are all correct in our interpretation of the ending.
