Oh...my...GOD, this movie was HILARIOUS!!! Definitely one of the funniest this year, but I would rank it one of the funniest EVER, on par with Office Space, Anchorman, American Pie(s), Napolean Dynamite, National Lampoon's Vacation, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

First off, this is NOT a movie to take young children to. The language is dirty, the nudity frequent, and the sex talk plenty. So NO CHILDREN, PLEASE!

That being said, everyone else and their mother should go see Crashers. The premise it totally original and the dialogue is brilliant. I still have a headache from laughing so hard and so often.

Few other random thoughts...

Vince Vaughn- funny, no matter what he's in.
Owen Wilson- an acquired taste- sometimes funny, sometimes not at all.
Put 'em together- an incredible pair that'll keep you rolling 'til the credits. The chemistry of the characters AND these two actors in general was amazing to watch. I can't wait until the DVD so I can see some outtakes!

But here's the thing- there was not ONE weak character/ actor/ actress in the whole movie. Each character, no matter how briefly on the screen, was memorable.

Hands down, however, Isla Fisher, much like Steve Carrell in Anchorman, TOTALLY stole the show.

I don't want to spoil this movie for anyone, so I won't say too much. If there is any comedy you see in the theaters this summer, it should be THIS one.
FUNNY AS HELL!

I think the funniest comedy i have ever seen was "There's Something About Mary" but the above names you quoted are awsome too except for planes, trains.. since i have yet to watche that one.

That was good but i expect that kind of a radical character from Ferrell. However, it only seems to work for him in small roles. I dont think he's good at carrying his own movie. Not yet anyways.

Isla Fisher played Gloria Cleary, NOT the grandma (that was Ellen Albertini Dow- same woman as Wedding Singer). Isla's character played the twisted nymphomaniac who hung on Vince during the whole movie.

As for the comment about Ferrell, I have yet to see Bewitched and Kicking and Screaming, but both looked hilarious. I felt he played lead in Anchorman VERY well and have always loved his sketch comedy on SNL. Ferrell is good in both supporting roles AND leads...but you have to like that "over the top" kind of humor. I tend to gravitate more towards gut-wrenching, tears steaming down your face, pissing in your pants kind of humor more than polite giggles from high-brow comedies. Give me dick, fart, and sex jokes and I'm happy for the entire movie. If THAT'S not your thing then, yes, I can see how one would categorize Ferrell as a nice supporting actor. This movie is THAT kind of humor. If you are easily offended by foul language and sexual content, then DON'T GO SEE IT. Personally, Wedding Crashers ranks among some of the best "low-brow" comedies out there.

Agreed Escape, There's Something About Mary was quite a good movie. I agree. Its famous lol. I think Ferrell did a good job in Anchorman and the way he acts is funny to me. Something about Will I guess haha..get it? ok..yea
