Summary: no spoilers here, but I hope this helps.. the flick was AMAZING

So, the movie. Amazing. I'm dead serious. As far as `first time films' go, Jeff Anderson totally blew me away.

It was the perfect mix of comedy with heart. Not only did you feel good after it was over, but you kept remembering the crazy funny scenes that tore the house down. At Vulgarthon there were two theaters per day. I happened to be in Theater Two, Day One. As it turned out, Jeff Anderson's film was set to go first in our theater.

Jeff Anderson hasn't screened the flick to anyone yet, not even all of the cast has seen it. He was nervous to say the least. After a brief intro by the former Randal, the flick began.. on two beta tapes.

Since the flick has been `in post production forever' not everything was finished. Like no end credits and some sound issues. When the movie started no sound played actually, and the film was paused on the main title screen.. Jeff remarked from the back of the theater something about that not helping his nervousness.

Sooner than later the movie restarted. The film starts with a cool Vegas shot with a Foo Fighters song in the background. Jeff explained that he didn't end up with the rights to the song, but the remaining members of Guns and Roses.. sans Axl, recorded an original song for the intro.

I really do not want to give away too much. This movie is well worth your money if it ever comes out.. but I really think it has a chance. After the Vegas intro you get a bachelor party.. with a memorable joke about another movie with a bachelor party in Vegas.. After that it goes to Jersey and pre-maritial chaos insues.

Jeff Anderson plays Gil. Everyone will know him, well almost everyone, as Randal in Kevin Smith's `Clerks' and a few other Smith films. While his character is somewhat a smart ass, he really is different than Randal. His sidekick in the film, someone whom I have never seen is Trevor Fehrman, who plays Buscuit. He is the main comedy in the film and is usually the butt of the jokes..

The lead cast is very strong. Jeremy Sisto, who oddly enough plays the lead character also named Jeremy is also on `Six Feet Under' and was the a-hole who left Cher in the parking lot in `Clueless.' Rashida Jones plays Keri, the one Jeremy is getting married to. She is great too.. Besides being amazingly hot, she shows a very strong range of emotions.

It really is hard actually to give a spoiler-less review with revealing anything. The movie is all centered around a few key events that can't be given away. I really hope this movie gets some kind of distribution.. even like 15-20 cities.. For I have seen SO many movies this past year..2001.. that were nowhere near as funny and charming as this.
