Plot:
Based
on Rebecca Wells' 1996 novel of the same name, this movie deals with the
relationship between four women who come to believe that they are connected
by a divine sisterhood. At the heart of the story is Siddalee Walker (Sandra
Bullock), who through listening to her mother's stories of friendship
from her youth learns just how important her eccentric mother really is
to her.
