Plot:
Police
detective Will Dormer (Pacino) accidentally kills his partner while
investigating a murder in a small Alaska town. Local detective Ellie
Burr (Swank) is investigating the incident, while Dormer is being
blackmailed by a witness. At the same time he is trying to solve
the murder investigation that brought him there.
