Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition Trailer
(1997) To celebrate its twentieth anniversary,
special editions of the three original
Star Wars movies returned to theaters
starting on President's Day 1997. In
order to draw existing fans who already
saw the films, bonus features were added
to the movies, including deleted scenes.
They were also presented with newly
enhanced visual effects and THX and
digital sound. The re-release proved to
be a success for the studio on the heels
of the release of the Phantom Menace in
1999. |
Star Wars Return of the Jedi Trailer This is the Return of the Jedi movie
trailer. The name was changed from
Revenge of the Jedi because George Lucas
felt that having "revenge" in
the title was not characteristic of the
Jedi who are not motivated by hatred.
