PLOT: An elderly man (James Garner) visits a woman (Gena Rowlands) in a nursing home and reads her a story about a young couple, Noah and Allie (Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams), who spend one summer together but become separated by World War II and don't see each other for 14 years. PLOT: A robot named Sonny is the prime suspect in the murder of Dr. Miles Hogenmiller, an employee at U.S. Robotics. The story, set in 2035, focuses on detective Del Spooner (Will Smith), who takes on solving the crime. Based on the book author Isaac Asimov, the movie also stars Bridget Moynahan as a psychologist who helps Spooner. AUTHOR: Isaac Asimov
