Mob Movies capture the essence of a tantalizing world that appears attractive on the surface, but underneath teems with violence and deceit. How do criminals come to be? What is it like to live teetering on the edge of justice? How do their loved ones handle it? Why are we as moviegoers so attracted to these stories? Possibly, because as we watch, we get to breath in the air of their world. And even as we taste the smog, we are momentarily aroused by the scent of corruption.
