This design features the girls as the Solid Gold dancers from the 1980s TV show. The series featured a group of dancers in somewhat revealing costumes dancing to the top ten hits of the week. Back in St. Olaf, they didn't have shows like Solid Gold. They were much more conservative. Instead, they had the one and only Herring Juggling Act, which featured a herring juggling tiny little Ginsu knives. One false move and they would have filleted themselves!
